Keen to explore new sustainable materials, the VAINCOURT team has combined its experience in leather goods with LE ROUGE FRANÇAIS, a leading researcher in alternative vegan materials. Ambassadors for Made in France, the two brands met in the La Chambre concept store: Elodie Carpentier, creator of Le Rouge Français (named Vegan Entrepreneur of the Year) fell in love with the La Majestueuse de Vaincourt corset.

Sophie Gachet, director of Vaincourt, and Elodie worked together to design a VEGAN capsule around the La Majestueuse and La Délicieuse corsets.

This patented material uses apple residues from Italian and French food consumption. It gives a semi-matt appearance to the fabric, which is soft and warm to the touch. Its exclusive colour was developed for Rouge Français for its Opéra lipstick.

Created, cut, stitched and pampered in our workshops near Limoges, la Majestueuse de VAINCOURT is a pure French item, fruit of a traditional craftmanship. Our team of leathergood makers passionately crafts our belts to some of the most luxurious, hand-finished standards on the market.
This corset can be worn with a dress, a shirt or over
a trench coat. It adds a futuristic and minimalist
touch to any silhouette.

RESPECT

For a number of years, Vaincourt has chosen to only use hides from animals raised for food purposes in order to avoid waste and protect the most endangered species. Exotic leathers, such as alligator, will therefore not be found in the collection.
